How do you get cozy this holiday season?
“I LOVE to snuggle up in extra cozy sweaters, and usually treat myself to some new comfy threads just for the season! I find myself spending more time at home, cozied up on the sofa (or bed, let’s be honest!) with my favorite candle lit and my fave records on and a hot cup of tea or coffee. Sometimes I’ll put on a mediation, too. It’s all about finding those pockets of quiet and calm during the hustle and bustle of the holiday season!”
What are some of your fave Aerie items to gift?
“I love to give friends little luxuries they don’t normally buy themselves: some extra-soft socks, slippers or a sleep mask for example. I love all the Aerie scarves and pom poms as well! They’re so fun and let a little personality loose!”
What makes you #AerieREAL?
“I’m your virtual BFF, so I pride myself on keeping it real. But when it comes to being #AerieREAL, I just try to be as lovingly honest and authentic as I can in every area of my life. About a year ago, I decided I couldn’t go on NOT loving my body. I had to get real with myself and the ways in which I was limiting myself and not giving myself the love I deserved and so desperately needed. I decided I would declare this radical self-love despite how I currently felt, and I can say, it changed my life. For me, being real is being present. Being IN your body and asking the right questions. What I love about the #AerieREAL movement is that it’s so empowering; it’s about embracing your TRUE self and being brave enough to live that out every day in confidence, and THAT is what I strive for each and every minute.”
