Christmas morning is a magical time filled with opening presents and spending quality time with family. Caitlin from Dash of Darling invites us into her home and shares her Christmas traditions. 
“Merry Christmas, darlings! Ever since I was little my family has always shared the same Christmas morning tradition and today I am excited to share it with you. First, I just wanted to say that I believe traditions are an important part of the holidays. They are a powerful way to bring the family together to connect and make lasting memories. Our holiday is all that more special thanks to our yearly yuletide traditions.”
“When I was younger I could never sleep a wink on Christmas eve. I would always wake up in the middle of the night crazed with impatient excitement waiting for my mom to come into my room to tell me it was ok to come upstairs by the tree. As I have gotten older, I prefer to sleep in just a little longer, but one thing has remained the same… I love to be comfortable (yet cute for those Christmas morning jammy photos). My family has always held the tradition of opening up one present on Christmas eve after we watch a holiday movie and read stories from the Bible. This present is usually, you guessed it, new jammies. This year, I wanted something cute and cozy that I could wear year-round, so I opted for these super comfortable Aerie classic joggers, lace bralette, satin tank, knit scarf and soft socks. I feel super relaxed and snug as a bug.”

“After opening presents, we love to enjoy a nice cup of hot coca. This year, I made salted caramel hot chocolate topped with whipped cream and crushed candy canes.”
